Streamline Your Workflow with SAMSON Extensions.

Molecular modeling often requires extensive toolsets to execute complex tasks, from performing calculations to visualizing molecular dynamics. For anyone who’s felt limited by default functionalities in modeling platforms, SAMSON Extensions provide a solution tailored to your needs. These modular tools are designed to enhance your productivity and streamline your workflows.

In SAMSON, the Marketplace is your one-stop shop for discovering, managing, and using these extensions. Here’s what you should know about getting started:

The Role of Extensions in SAMSON

SAMSON Extensions are designed to enhance the base platform, enabling users to access additional functionalities like specialized visualization, cloud computations, or custom analysis tools. Depending on your specific needs, you can add or try extensions from the Marketplace with just a few clicks.

Adding Free Extensions

Free extensions are a great starting point. Once you are signed into your SAMSON account, simply navigate to the Marketplace. For a free extension, hit the Add button. It will be downloaded and installed automatically upon restarting SAMSON. Once added, the extension appears as Added in your Marketplace view:

Trials give you temporary access to experience the functionality the extension offers.

Subscribing to Extensions

For more advanced tools, subscription-based extensions are available. Subscriptions allow ongoing usage on flexible pricing plans (monthly, yearly, or academic, if applicable). To subscribe, click Subscribe on the extension’s page, and it will be marked as Subscribed:
