Adding and Removing Extensions in SAMSON: A Practical Guide for Molecular Modelers

As a molecular modeler, your workflow often depends on integrating the right tools at the right time. SAMSON helps streamline activity through its modular approach using SAMSON Extensions. Learning how to add, try, subscribe to, or remove these extensions can help you stay focused on your research while keeping the software lean and customized for your needs. This guide gives a clear overview of how to manage extensions in SAMSON through SAMSON Connect.

Finding Extensions That Fit Your Needs

On the Marketplace section of SAMSON Connect, you’ll find a diverse selection of extensions—ranging from simulation wizards to visualization tools. Each extension has a dedicated page with its description, compatibility details, supported versions, and authorship.
