Controlling Your SAMSON Extensions: Add, Try, Subscribe, or Remove

Anyone working in molecular modeling knows that flexibility and adaptability in your software tools are essential. The ability to quickly expand your capabilities, test out new features, and manage subscriptions based on your needs allows you to work more efficiently and effectively. That’s why SAMSON’s modular system of Extensions is such a valuable part of the platform.

But how exactly can you manage these modules—called SAMSON Extensions—and keep your molecular design environment lightweight and personalized? Whether you’re a newcomer setting up your first modeling workflows or a seasoned researcher managing a complex setup, here’s a practical guide to navigating the management of SAMSON Extensions through SAMSON Connect.

Finding and Adding Extensions

Head over to the Marketplace on SAMSON Connect to browse all available Extensions. Each Extension has its own page with details such as supported platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac), version compatibility, author information, and more.
