How to Add Free Extensions
If you’re signed in to your SAMSON Connect account, adding free extensions is straightforward:
- Go to the Marketplace on SAMSON Connect.
- Browse through the available extensions. When you find one you like, click the Add button.
- The extension will be marked as “Added”.
- Restart SAMSON to download and automatically install your chosen extension.

Trying or Subscribing to Advanced Extensions
Some extensions are available through subscription or a trial period. Follow these steps to trial or subscribe to advanced extensions:
- To try an extension for free, click Request trial. Note that no credit card is required for this step.
- If you decide to subscribe, click Subscribe and choose between monthly or yearly plans. Academic users may also qualify for an Academic subscription plan.

How to Manage Your Installed Extensions
Need to organize your extensions? SAMSON allows you to manage them directly from your account:
- Sign in to your SAMSON Connect account.
- Navigate to Account > Settings and select View my extensions.
- To remove an extension, hover over the “Added” button until it changes to Remove. Then, click “Remove”.
Don’t worry—extensions you’ve removed will remain in your account for easy reinstallation. This flexibility makes it simple to switch between toolsets depending on the demands of your projects.
