How to Share Your Documents on SAMSON Connect
With SAMSON Connect, you have complete control over how your documents are shared and with whom. You can share your molecular design documents directly from the SAMSON platform. Here’s how:
1. Publish your document: Navigate to Home > Publish in SAMSON. This option lets you fill in important details like the document’s name, description, and its visibility settings.
2. Choose the visibility of your document: Tailor the access to your document by selecting from the following visibility options:
- Public: The document is accessible to everyone, but editing requires specific access rights.
- Hidden: Anyone with the direct link can view the document. Editing still requires access rights.
- Restricted: Both viewing and editing require explicit access rights.
3. Share the link: Once you click on Publish document, your document is shared on SAMSON Connect. A link to the document is automatically generated and provided in the sharing window. Share this link with collaborators to grant access.
Managing Shared Documents: SAMSON Connect also lets you keep track of all the documents you’ve shared, as well as those shared with you. Simply access your account on SAMSON Connect, where you can review or update access permissions and manage collaborations effectively.
