Adding Free Extensions
Signing up for a SAMSON account unlocks access to numerous free extensions. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Sign in to your SAMSON Connect account.
- Navigate to the Marketplace section.
- Browse the available extensions and click the Add button next to the one you need.
Once added, the extension will be marked as “Added.” On re-launching SAMSON, the new extension will automatically install and integrate into your platform. For example:
Trial and Subscription Extensions
Some extensions require a subscription but can first be trialed for free—no credit card needed. To request a trial, click Request trial. During the trial period, the extension will be marked as “Trying.”
If you’d like continued access, you can later subscribe by choosing a monthly or yearly plan. Academic users enjoy special discounts via the academic subscription option.
Extensions under subscription will be labeled as “Subscribed” once activated.
Managing Extensions

- Go to Marketplace or Account > Settings.
